Who this notice covers

Paycheck to Paycheck is independently maintained under the Paycheck to Paycheck brand. Updated September 8, 2026. This notice covers the production website hosted on Cloudflare Pages and the feedback mailbox described below.

Budget entries, website access information, advertising information and support correspondence are different categories. The sections below explain how each is handled.

Budget entries and calculations

Income, expenses, cash reserves, budget scope and scenario entries are processed in your browser. The calculator does not submit these amounts to a budget server, put them in page URLs or connect to bank accounts. No account is required.

By default, entries and tool progress are stored in this tab’s session storage to survive internal navigation and refreshes. Closing the tab normally ends that session, but browsers may restore sessions. Use “Clear entries in all tools” to explicitly remove them. If browser storage is unavailable, entries remain in memory while the page stays open.

Optional progress saving on this device

Choosing “Save on this device” stores the shared budget, expense breakdown, scenario settings and submission state in this browser’s local storage, along with a saving preference, timestamp and format version. On a later visit without an active tab session, you choose whether to continue the saved budget or delete it and start new. After you continue or save your progress, changes save automatically until you turn saving off.

There is no automatic expiry set by the application. Saved progress remains until you remove it or the browser clears its storage. It is not synchronized to other devices by this website. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to read it; avoid saving on a shared device.

Stopping saving or clearing entries

• Stop saving and delete saved progress: stops future saving and removes the saved record when the browser allows it. The entries currently in this tab remain available.
• Clear entries in all tools: after confirmation, clears this tab’s budget and scenarios and attempts to remove the saved record.
• If removal fails: the tool shows an error. Retry or clear this website’s data through your browser settings.

Open progress controls. Removing saved progress does not delete files you previously downloaded.

Reports you print or save

Report preview and printing take place in your browser. If you choose to save a PDF, it is stored wherever your browser or print service saves it. Downloaded reports can contain financial details. You control whether to share or delete them; clearing this website’s saved progress does not remove them.

Website requests and Cloudflare

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. Your browser requests pages and assets from Cloudflare; these requests include technical information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser headers. Those requests are separate from the financial amounts entered into the calculator.

Cloudflare processes requests to deliver, secure and protect the service. This website does not promise that hosting logs are absent or immediately deleted. Provider processing is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

When you follow an external link, the destination website handles your visit under its own privacy practices. Your budget is not automatically included in those links.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is used only after you choose “Allow analytics.” If you choose “No thanks,” the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. Your choice is stored in this browser’s local storage so the website can remember it. You can review or change the choice with the “Analytics preferences” button in the site footer.

When enabled, Google Analytics receives ordinary information about page visits and engagement, such as the page address and title, approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser information, and interaction measurements provided by Google’s enhanced measurement feature. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to provide this service. The website disables Google signals and advertising personalization signals in its Analytics configuration. Allowing analytics does not grant advertising storage, advertising user-data or advertising personalization consent.

With your permission, we also measure which tool and step is used, calculation completions, validation failures by step, help use and progress-saving actions. These events contain only fixed tool and step names, not income, expenses, cash, savings targets, purchase types, form text or calculation results. Advertising and Google services

This website is preparing to use Google AdSense. Advertising code is not active until it is visibly deployed on the website. When Google advertising services are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies in your browser, or use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to collect information as a result of ad serving.

Google may use this information to deliver and measure advertising, limit repeated ads, detect fraud and abuse, and personalize ads where you have made a valid choice that permits personalization. The website does not place your income, expenses, available cash, savings runway, emergency fund target or calculator results in advertising requests, analytics events, audience lists or remarketing lists. These financial entries remain separate from ordinary page and advertising requests.

Advertising privacy choices

Before Google advertising that requires consent is served to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the website will use a Google-certified consent management platform. Eligible visitors will be able to consent, refuse consent or manage their choices. A choice may affect whether ads are personalized, non-personalized or limited.

You can also manage cookies through your browser and manage Google advertising choices through My Ad Center. Blocking or deleting cookies may reset a stored advertising choice. Essential website access and the budget calculators do not require advertising personalization.

The advertising disclosure and consent controls will be reviewed again before AdSense code is enabled. If advertising is not active, the website does not make AdSense advertising requests.

Feedback correspondence

Mail sent to support@paychecktopaycheck.online is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail inbox used by the independent maintainer. Your sender address, message, email headers and any attachments are processed by these services and made available to the maintainer. Email is separate from your browser budget; the website does not attach your entries automatically.

The maintainer uses correspondence to investigate reported issues, consider suggestions and handle privacy requests. General feedback does not receive a guaranteed reply or automatic acknowledgement. Do not include passwords, bank statements, identity documents, medical details or real financial reports.

The website does not apply an automatic deletion schedule to received emails. Messages may remain in the receiving mailbox until manually deleted. To request deletion of correspondence held by the maintainer, email the same address with the original subject and approximate date. This does not remove copies held by you or others, or override providers’ retention processes. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy for their handling of information.

Your controls and privacy questions

You can edit or delete your local budget using progress controls or your browser’s site-data settings. The maintainer cannot remotely retrieve or erase a budget that exists only in your browser. There is no server-side budget account to close.

The contact page provides the feedback address, which also accepts privacy questions. Do not send passwords, bank statements or real budget reports to demonstrate a problem.

Changes to this notice

The date above identifies the version described here. Analytics collection began with the September 8, 2026 version and remains optional. Material changes to data handling will be explained on this page with an updated date; a change affecting a saving or advertising choice will also be explained where that choice is offered.
